Peace in chaos

Trapped in this screen all day 

Nothing much else to do,

Maybe I'm trying to escape 

The sad reality life got me into.


As soon as I lay this phone 

Sudden sadness strikes me down

As if it was already running towards me

At the speed of sound. 


As if to manage the sudden strike

My lips start to move 

Uttering a line or two of some song 

Trying to make my heart groove

 

My mind's at rest

My heart is still calm 

But too much of this silence 

Might cause me harm.


But I'm not worried much 

For this too will end.

I will just wait until then... 

...Wait for the thrill to once again be my friend.

Please don't cry when I die,  Just look up to the sky  And wave me goodbye .  I'm certain I'll be watching you , Will come to surprise you as morning dew. Hold me in your hand until I dry  Then I'll fly again into the sky . Don't worry about us meeting again , I'll see you soon , when it will rain.  And when it does , open your arms and feel the rain ,  and that's when we meet again .  When the rain does die ,  Please don't cry , Just look up to the sky , And wave me goodbye .                           ~H.S Thukral
