I'll greet you with a smile

When we meet again 

I'll greet you with a smile.

So we'd see each other happily again,

After not being together for a while.


I won't let you know

How I'm crumbling away. 

I won't say a word about it , 

Or your smile too, will decay. 


All of the sadness , 

Been hidden in my eyes for a while,

You catching a glimpse would make me helpless, 

So stay focused on my smile.


Walking under the night sky, 

Listening to your silly spiel,

Will probably make my agony fly.

Then , I'll greet you once again ,  

This time , with a real smile.

Wave me goodbye

Please don't cry when I die,  Just look up to the sky  And wave me goodbye .  I'm certain I'll be watching you , Will come to surprise you as morning dew. Hold me in your hand until I dry  Then I'll fly again into the sky . Don't worry about us meeting again , I'll see you soon , when it will rain.  And when it does , open your arms and feel the rain ,  and that's when we meet again .  When the rain does die ,  Please don't cry , Just look up to the sky , And wave me goodbye .                           ~H.S Thukral
